Paper timecards only capture time data, but almost every business employs some sort of shift system. With ID Station Lite you can register up to three different shifts and assign them to your employees using the Monthly Shift planning tool. ID Station Lite will use this shift information when automatically calculating hours worked and other important information useful for payroll export.
With a standard time recorder, managers must first copy the information from the physical timecards into a program like Microsoft Excel®, then copy the calculated data again into the payroll software.
Using ID Station Lite, exporting data is a snap with the CSV export tool. Simply choose the data columns you wish to export, add the optional headers, and with a single click save all of your employee time data into a Microsoft Excel®compatible file.
Paper timecards can be lost or destroyed by careless employees, but with ID Station Lite the data is stored safely in a database. That database can be periodically backed up and saved to a CD-ROM or USB memory key.
